This Year One video features Lara Croft GO, a brilliant reimagining of the Tomb Raider franchise that trades fast-paced action for turn-based puzzle-solving. It’s a bold shift in style, but somehow, it works beautifully — capturing the spirit of Tomb Raider with its ancient ruins, deadly traps, and cleverly designed puzzles.

Unfortunately, almost nobody showed up to watch me play it live. Maybe the algorithm wasn’t feeling it that day. Maybe people just weren’t ready for a slower, more methodical Lara Croft. Either way, I powered through, solving puzzles, dodging giant snakes, and trying not to feel self-conscious about talking to myself for two hours.
