Like many children growing up in middle-class Hong Kong families, singer-songwriter Kiri T learned ballet, violin and the piano when she was young. Although she was trained in classical disciplines, which she found a little stifling, she was more inspired by pop. She earned her first publishing deal at the age of 14, working with Denise Ho. After some time working with the local industry, she decided to broaden her horizons again and went on to study electronic production and design at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. She’s with us right now in the studio.
