Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this Risk Racing Lock-N-Load Pro dirt bike anchoring system. Now, this dirt bike transport system is going to secure your bike in your trailer, van, or truck bed with these jaws that are going to actually clamp down on the foot pegs of your bike. Now, the benefit of a system like this is that you're going to be able to secure your bike without the need for tie down straps, floor anchors, or wheel chocks. And plus, this is also going to reduce the pressure on your fork seals by distributing pressure to your bike's front and rear suspension. Now, this features a fully adjustable ratcheting system that's going to let you quickly load and unload your bikes with a simple flip of the locking switch.

And I'd like to give you a brief demonstration of how this would work. So, what you would want to do first is on these locking switches here, move them down before securing your bike. And then you would just move your bike in between these posts and make sure that your foot pegs are underneath these jaws. And then once your bike is in place you're just going to move (gears ratcheting) these posts down until they make a nice secure contact with your foot pegs. It's actually been suggested to sit on your bike, and if if you sit on your bike, that's going to compress the suspension a little bit and then just use your foot to push these posts down firmly on your foot peg.

And then your bike is going to be secured in place. So that's how easy and how quickly you're gonna be able to secure your bike. Now, when you're ready to remove your bike and you're ready to take it out on the trail or take it out on the road, it's just as simple to remove this. You're going to move these locking switches up. You just flip 'em up like that, and then you're just going to slightly push down on the posts and then that's going to bring the posts back up.

So, really easy to secure, really easy to remove, and these rubberized jaw pads are going to keep your bike more secure. And they're also, since they are rubber, going to protect your foot, your foot pegs. On your screen I'm putting a few photos up there just to give you an idea of what your bike is going to look like when it's secured with this system. And this is going to fit 85cc to Enduro bikes or bikes with a similar geometry and with 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. And this is going to work with bike widths from 12 inches to 21 inches and a foot peg height from 12 and a half inches to 18 inches.

And this has a maximum weight capacity of 315 pounds. Now, you can adjust and remove these posts quickly by loosening these hand knobs here. And I'm just gonna give you an example of that. So, I'm gonna loosen the hand knob and you can either adjust it like this or completely remove it. And what that's going to do is when you remove these posts it's going to leave this low profile mounting plate in place. So this is not gonna cause any real obstructions, it's not going to be in your way. And so when you're then ready to secure your bike you can just move this to the width that you need it and use the hand knob then to lock it into place. Now the plate dimensions, I went ahead and measured the plate earlier before our time together. The overall width we're sitting right at 21 1/4 inches wide. The overall length we're sitting at about six and three quarters inches long and then this sticks up about half an inch tall. Now, this is sturdy, yet lightweight. This features an aluminum construction so it's sturdy enough to hold your bike, to secure it into place, but also it's light enough to store this on a shelf in your garage. So this weighs a little over 13 pounds. And this does include mounting hardware for installing this either in your trailer or your van or your truck bed along with an instruction sheet that will walk you through that installation process. So, if you're looking for a really quick and secure way to secure your dirt bike in your trailer or in your van or in the bed of your truck, this is going to be a great option for you to consider. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
