We are a group of IRL friends that play video games online. For 18 long months we played WarZone religiously throughout the global meltdown known as ‘The Pandemic’. It was cathartic - after having to endure homeschooling our kids, not going out, not knowing what day it was - to be able to meet three of our oldest friends together and chat and laugh and help each other cope with the isolation and loneliness the lockdowns brought.

Sadly now though WARZONE IS A BROKEN PILE OF STEAMING DEFECTION.

Two weeks ago I made affiliate on Twitch and decided we needed a new game to play and stream together due to Warzone really really just falling apart at it’s already dodgy seams. So we all chatted and FORTNITE was mentioned as well as PUBG. PUBG didn’t quite hit our spot so we tried Fortnite. I’d played two games of duos many moons also so apart from that I was a fresh noob. Two weeks later and we have a 38% Squads win rate after having played 60+ games….

And I can now snipe people off like this video shows. We are enjoying Fortnite so far. It’s clean, simple, and easy, compared to the bloated convoluted mess WarZone has become.
