Quilboars was the worst tribe in season 6 before the latest patch 28.4.1. After many changes, Blizzard finally brought it to playability.
In this game, my hero was Shudderwock, one of the top ones in the current metagame. I used his hero power along with Shell Collector to get through the early game smoothly. After hitting level 3, I was able to find Prickly Piper and a little later Paint Smudger and Moon-Bacon Jazzer after which I made the decision to force through the Quilboars composition. I managed to boost my Blood Crystals to +18/19 thanks to the hp in combination with the tavern spells Brann's Blessing and Dreamer's Embrace. The last piece was Geomagus Roogug, which is now one of the best minions in the entire game. It multiplies crystals and has a divine shield itself, a near-perfect unit! In summary, it was a very simple game, and none of the opponents were even close to threatening me.
