Peonies - tree peony flowers of a Japanese Shinto shrine

Please visit us at: http://botanyboy.org/ Peonies, especially the tree peony varieties, have always attracted a lot of attention, and in this video you’ll see many growing in a Japanese Shinto shrine garden - Hakozaki Flower Garden in Fukuoka, Japan. Peonies are commonly known to be of two types, those dying back in winter (herbaceous types) and ones that loose their leaves but have a woody stem (tree varieties). This garden has both types, however this video focuses on the latter, plus a bunch of other flowers growing there. Enjoy this quintessentially Japanese experience.
