Amid the political turmoil in Madhya Pradesh, Congress party is shifting its MLAs to Jaipur. At the Jaipur airport the security have been beefed up. Congress will now be flying down its remaining 92 MLAs to Jaipur and lodge them at a luxury resort to stop any bids of poaching. Congress has 114 MLAs in the 230-member Madhya Pradesh assembly while the BJP has 107 MLAs. If the 22 MLAs join BJP along with Jyotiraditya Scindia, the numbers will stack up in favour of BJP, which will then be in a position to topple the Kamal Nath government, which will be reduced to a minority.
