In this article, we will guide you on how to test the potency of your raw flower using the tCheck2 THC and CBD Potency Tester. Whether you are a grower or simply curious about the strength of your flower, the tCheck2 and the tCheck2 Flower Expansion Kit will help you easily and accurately determine the potency.

To get started, you will need the following materials:

Scale
10 milliliters of tCheck reagent
10 milliliter syringe
1 milliliter syringe
13 millimeter syringe filter
Sample container
Stirring stick
tCheck device
Before you begin, make sure to download the tCheck app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. Once downloaded, log in to your tCheck account or sign up for a new account if this is your first time using the device. Ensure that your tCheck device has batteries and is turned on during the testing process. It's also important to place the tCheck device on a level surface to ensure accurate results.

To start the testing process, follow these steps:

Enable Bluetooth on your phone and make sure the tCheck device lights up blue-green. If any other color appears, refer to the getting started guide for troubleshooting.
Open the tCheck app and click the "Run Test" button to connect to your device.
Select "Raw Flower" from the list of options to begin the test.
Prepare the raw flower sample by weighing out about 100 to 200 milligrams of flower, approximately the size of a pea. For the most accurate reading, try to use as close to 200 milligrams as possible. If you're using the tCheck scale, use the metal sample dish. If your flower sample is ground or crumbled, be sure to tear the scale before weighing. Write down the sample weight as you will need to input it in the tCheck app.
Place the flower sample into the sample container. You can use the stirring stick to gently break up the flower to the size of sesame seeds or smaller.
Draw out about 10 milliliters of the reagent solution using the 10 milliliter syringe. Slowly push the reagent into the sample container with the flower. Make sure to screw the sample container's lid on tightly to ensure it is sealed well.
Shake the sample container for five minutes to allow the infusion to occur. The color of the infusion may change slightly during this process.
Using the 1 milliliter syringe without a filter, draw out half a milliliter from the top of your sample. Attach a filter to the nozzle of the syringe and gently squeeze three to five drops of the infusion into the tray. Ensure that there are no bubbles in the tray, as they can interfere with the measurement. If you see bubbles, add more drops.
9 After completing the sample preparation instructions, you will need to enter the flower weight, infusion temperature, and whether the sample is THCA flower or high CBD in the tCheck app. We recommend using an infrared thermometer to find the most accurate temperature of your infusion.
