EXPERIMENT WITH FABRIC DYE: ACU (UCP)

We came up with this experiment to dye some of my ACU (UCP) equipment to a more suitable color. I call this color sceme the "Zombie camo" The camo color came out much like the Woodland MARPAT camo, but with more of a subdued look instead of having the bright green and black that makes the MARPAT stand out. The main background color is very similar to Coyote Brown and the webbing looks like a dark Brownish color. The next part of the project is to convert the FLC into a "rack vest", which will be explained in an upcomming video. Tell me what you guys think of the end result. NOTE: This was an experiment and wasn't intended to actually blend into any known enviroment in particular. We started out with a plan, a basic color we wanted to achieve, and test dyed small pieces before scaling up to full pieces of gear. We did not keep a record of the ratios of each color dye that was used. It would be very difficult to reproduce the exact color again.
