Custom Remington Wing Master 870

This was a shotgun I did a lot of work to while I was in gunsmithing school. I found this at a pawnshop in rough shape. I refinished the metal and blued the action and barrel. I cut the barrel down from 26" to 20", faced and crowned the barrel, in addition I ported and opened the forcing comb to 95% increase and polished the barrel with a FLEX Hone. The wood was donated to the college from Remington's custom shop before they went out of business. The walnut is an exhibition grade with some amazing tigering/fingering in the wood grain. The buttstock is an English style instead of an American style buttstock which is somewhat rare. The action had to be drilled and taped for the optic rail on top of the action. I added an extension magazine tube kit from NORDIC Components along with an upgraded follower. The barrel has fiber optic front and rear sights installed which makes it optimal for daytime shooting, or low light.
