Today I would like to share and analyze with you one stock that I have in my portfolio and that I honestly bought at a pretty good time, right at the bottom of the crash in May 2020. This stock is Trans Alta Corp. But this video is not really about when did I buy the stock but about the future perspectives of it and what I personally think of it as a company overall. Mainly I will try to do an in-depth analysis of the company summarizing a lot of different information out there so hopefully I can help you in determining whether this company might be a good investment or not.

Founded in 1911 it is listed in the stock exchange of Toronto but also in New York under the ticker symbol TAC. At the moment of recording this video it is trading at roughly 6$ per share. Nevertheless, let’s now explain what TransAlta Corp does as a company.

It is one of the largest Canada’s power producing companies. They operate mostly in Canada but also in US and Australia. What they do is not only produce electricity, but they also sell it directly to end customers (individuals or companies).
