2018年4月全員が東京藝術大学在学中に結成。2019年に秋吉台音楽コンクール弦楽四重奏部門で第1位を受賞。ベートーヴェンの弦楽四重奏曲第4番とメンデルスゾーンの第5番を演奏。

The HONO Quartet was formed in April 2018 when the members studied at Tokyo University of the Arts. In 2019 the quartet won the 1st prize in the Akiyoshidai Music Competition Stringed Instrument Category. Played Beethoven’s and Mendelssohn’s String Quartets Nos. 4 & 5.
