Mothra Suite | Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (Original Soundtrack) by Tom Holkenborg

I genuinely think this is the best Mothra has been in years. I wasn't a fan of her portrayal in King of the Monsters, but I thought that she was as magical, colorful, and whimsical as she's always been portrayed to be in the Toho films. I loved seeing her in action once again. I will say, not sure how to feel about Holkenborg's Mothra theme. I appreciate the soothing synths, female vocals, and calm Iwi orchestration, but the motif isn't that compelling to me considering it's a theme for Mothra herself, and I feel she's had more interesting motifs in other films. It's serviceable, but nothing that draws me in personally.
