Sinagot ng Department of Foreign Affairs ang ulat hinggil sa umano’y audio recording ng naging usapan ng isang Chinese diplomat at AFP official sa lumulutang na new model arrangement sa Ayungin Shoal.

Babala rin ng DFA na mag-ingat sa mga imbentong pahayag sabay paalala sa foreign officials sa bansa na igalang ang mga batas ng Pilipinas.
