This is an inspiring story about the young Indigenous students from the Centaur School, Banora Point, Tweed Heads, in the Bundjalung nation, who are stepping up to carry the torch of creation with the wisdom of their ancestors flowing strong in their blood.

A celebration of their indigenous roots and their deep connection to the beautiful country that they inhabit. From Wollumbin to the sea, these students sing of the ways that all things connect; and they stand strong and resilient like Gabal, (The Big Scrub) singing with all the beauty and confidence of a kookaburra.

“One Vision, One heart - overcoming limitations!” - This is the world they are making. It’s a future with its past integrated. A reminder of how best to move forward; respectful, inclusive and proud together. Yelgen Sun is shining bright in the rainbow region.
