What is the Intake Manifold Tuning Valve or IMT Valve? When the valve is closed, the valve allows high torque at low engine speed. When the valve is open, the valve allows high torque at high engine speed. The valve is located inside the intake manifold. The IMT actuator motor simply opens or closes this valve.
