Here is a video of my preheater feeding my torpedo heater. This is the preheater that I show off in my other video on my channel. I started the heater on a little diesel fuel that was left in the tank then swapped it over almost immediately to waste oil. I had to crank up the feed pressure to almost 5psi to get a flame that would stop the flame sensor from shutting the unit down.
Please note that I am only running this as a proof-of-concept I don't use it to heat my garage. I know that burning waste motor oil in a confined space is not a good idea.
