People and Prophets are what our readings this Sunday proclaim. People are hard faced and obstinate heart, words from the First reading; that in the gospel Jesus, The Prophet, was rejected by the people. In our time, the Lord God still is calling us to return to Him, to change our lives, to follow His Jesus, His Son. May we respond positively with whole of our being the word of God this Sunday.
