West Coast Swing Improv Demo - Alyssa Glanville and Joel Torgeson

A little improv West Coast Swing demo with the incomparable Alyssa Marie Glanville while I was in San Francisco! 😃

We both heard the Analog Sessions version of “6’s to 9’s” and thought “Whoooooaaahhhh, we need to move to this!” 🤩☺️

As is probably the case with many of you dancers out there, I’ve rarely had a chance to dance with someone throughout this pandemic, and it’s been hard to find the motivation to practice, with so much going on in the world and the uncertainty of when we’ll ever get to go back to dancing with other people the way we used to. I want to thank Alyssa for pushing me to create again, even when I wasn’t feeling worth it, and for Tim Kenny for the encouraging words and for filming 🎥 this for us!

Good friends can definitely turn 6’s to 9’s, and sometimes even 1’s into at least a 7. 🙂
