The pilot light on this Buddy Heater would not stay lit and was burning orange due to build up in the ignitor tube. To fix the buddy heater you can use isopropyl alcohol to clear out the carbon and gunk that can build up on the igniter and pilot light tube.

I used just solvent and a q-tip and it fixed my issues I was having with the buddy heater and it worked properly after the cleaning of the pilot light tube and igniter.
