Dr. Aurora Kesseli is a Research Scientist at Caltech IPAC who investigates exoplanets. She received her PhD from Boston University, then worked as a postdoc at Leiden University in the Netherlands, before joining IPAC recently. Her research works to characterize exoplanets through the study of their atmospheres, primarily via transmission and emission spectroscopy. She aims to use these observations to study the diversity of planetary systems and learn how they form and evolve over time.
