You can easily fix early extension in one session at the range so that is no longer a horrific fault.

Touring pros don't suffer from early extension because they have dynamic rotational movement skills. I don't have those skills and neither do your, so we need to stand further back from the ball, based on our rotational movement skills, and train our hips and thighs to work during the swing with the Seaman Squatting Driver Drill that is explained in this video.
