While on our cross country trip from Salt Spring Island to Nova Scotia, we decided to stop at Magnetic Hill In Moncton New Brunswick. This place is cool. Take your car to the bottom on the hill and put it in neutral then watch what happens. The car will coast uphill back to the top. Some say it's a place that has strange magnetic properties, others say it's an optical illusion. What do you think?

Here is an explanation:
A magnetic hill is a place where the layout of the land causes a optical illusion that makes it appear as though a downhill slope is actually an uphill slope. This can be caused by the way the land is shaped or by the way it is painted or marked. When a vehicle is placed on the road and the driver takes their foot off the accelerator, the vehicle will appear to roll uphill against the force of gravity. This phenomenon is often used as a tourist attraction, with people coming from far and wide to experience it. It is also sometimes referred to as a "gravity hill" or a "mystery hill." The illusion is created by the way the surrounding landscape is shaped and how it interacts with the horizon, which can cause the viewer's brain to perceive the slope as being inclined in the opposite direction to what it actually is.
