We did a one night backpacking trip to summit North and South Kinsman. We hiked up to the Kinsman Pond Shelter and grabbed a tent platform for the night. The next day we packed up and headed to the summits. We dropped our heavier packs along the way and took the essentials with us in smaller backpacks. On the way back we grabbed our larger packs and headed back down.

Overall it was a great experience. We definitely need to work on our pack weight as we were a bit overloaded I believe (first time, so we overpacked). That will come with experience.
