Building a Dome

In this video, we show you how we built a platform and a geodesic dome on top of it. A platform is a flat surface that supports the dome and prevents water from getting inside. A geodesic dome is a spherical structure made of triangular elements that are strong and lightweight. We used an icosahedron as the base shape for the dome, which has 20 faces and 12 vertices. We divided each face into smaller triangles and connected them with struts. We then assembled the dome by joining the struts at the vertices.
