Drone Footage：The town of Futaba in Fukushima Prefecture(2024.8.20)

The town of Futaba is situated in the middle of the waterfront area of Fukushima Prefecture and is the site of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. Following the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, and the subsequent accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, an evacuation order was issued for the entire Futaba area. However, on August 30, 2022, it was lifted for approximately 10% of the town area, allowing people to live in Futaba Town again.
We are going to introduce how the area affected by this unprecedented serious accident has set out along the path to reconstruction.
