Some information..
The height I mentioned corresponds to a very large, mature tree. Many trees top out well before they reach such impressive heights. Some common problems some people have with growing oak trees include Oak Leaf Blister (caused by a fungus known as Taphrina caerulescens, which I'll try to tall about in my next oak video when I have some more time ;) ) and several types of root rot, including Armarilla and Ganoderma. Ganoderma makes the heart of the pith in the tree turn a bright pinkish rust colour, and you may notice several conk fungi growing at the base of the tree.

Another HUGE problem with oak trees is Anthracnose. This is caused by Apiognomonia quercina, which Is a really bad fungus (seriously, avoid excess moisture within the canopy when the tree is younger, especially in the spring. Anthracnose loves moisture.) Sudden oak wilt disease is also another problem, which first manifests itself as crispy brown leaves near the apes of the tree crown, progressing downwards through the canopy. Avoid this using corrective reduction pruning in the summer months.

I will have to make a more in-depth video on the fascinating Oak when I have more time, but I want to leave yall with this.
