前年の1987年に発売されたロールプレイングゲーム『Ys（イース）Ⅰ』が大変好評だった事を受けて、その続編（後編部分）として『優しさから、感動へ。』のキャッチコピーで、日本ファルコム株式会社より1988年6月24日に発売された『Ys（イース）Ⅱ』のSharp X1turboシリーズ版になります。
