— Album Description —
The symphonic concept album “Enchanted Valleys” takes you on a musical journey through an imaginary world filled with unique and magical landscapes. Go on an adventure and explore nature and the miraculous world of elves and dwarves.

This programmatic suite is grounded in the styles of fantasy film and game soundtracks, combining medievalist melodies with lush Romantic orchestrations. I began this project several years ago with the intention of exploring musical identities of various landscapes, as well as my own. “Enchanted Valleys” is the fruit of this labour.

Some suggestions for enjoying this album: listen to it when reading, studying, and writing, when going for a hike, or during tabletop RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons. Or (my personal favourite) daydream about magical lands.

I created each track on this album with a specific landscape and atmosphere (and at times even with a detailed story) in mind, which are outlined below. But feel free to let your mind wander and come up with fantasies of its own...

In the fifth piece, “Where Goblins Dwell,” you enter and explore a grotto. It’s a labyrinth of deep tunnels containing the occasional skylight. A stream of glowing mushrooms illuminates a path. As you follow the path, you delve deeper and deeper, and stumble upon a goblin village. The cumbersome creatures that dwell here are cavorting and dancing clumsily in the moonlit caverns.
