Democratic impeachment managers have spent three full days making a compelling case for the impeachment of former President Donald Trump.

Armed with hours of CCTV and mobile phone footage from the day of the Washington DC riots, they have argued the former president must be impeached to prevent this level of violence from ever happening again.

Compelling as the never-before-seen footage may be, the former President still holds high levels of support in the so-call Trump heartlands. As The Telegraph's Washington correspondent Rozina Sabur explains in the video above, that makes the result of the impeachment vote a foregone conclusion.
