Kamala Harris Receives Flak for Claiming "No US Soldiers in Combat Zones" | Firstpost America

US Vice President Kamala Harris has been facing massive backlash for claiming that not one US soldier is in active duty in a combat zone overseas. She made the misleading remark during her presidential debate with former president Donald Trump on September 10. According to the Department of Defence, the United States is not directly engaged in war and American soldiers are not fighting in any of the active war zones. However, some military personnel are stationed in the areas that are considered combat zones by the US. A video purportedly showing some US soldiers laughing at Harris's remarks has also been circulating on social media.
