NJ Devils Linus Ullmark VS Jacob Markstrom DID WE GET THE RIGHT GOALIE?

It was announced tonight that the Ottawa Senators obtained goaltender Linus Ullmark from the Boston Bruins in exchange for forward Mark Kastelic, goaltender Joonas Korpisalo (25% retained) and the 25th overall pick in this year's NHL draft.

Many fans were left puzzled at the return for Linus Ullmark after the news broke.

This return was quite a bit less than the reported asking price in the media for months now.

The package was fairly similar to what the NJ Devils gave up to get Jacob Markstrom from the Calgary Flames.

Many people felt New Jersey Devils General Manager Tom Fitzgerald overpaid for Markstrom, or that he got the WRONG goalie altogether.

Did Tom Fitzgerald overpay?

Should he have went after Linus Ullmark instead?

Was this all part of the Ottawa Senators plan to keep Brady Tkachuk happy and keep him in Ottawa?
