Hello! I am currently recruiting for "Duplicity", a Minecraft SMP! If you would like to join please read the information below.

To put it in simple terms Duplicity is a mixture of Grian's Secret Life and Double Life series. It's more complicated than that, but that's the simple version.

The detailed explanation is as follows: At the start of each session players will be assigned as either a Pair or a Solo. These assignments are completely random and will be different every session. Paired players are life-linked, any damage one takes is shared with the other. Players must then divide themselves into groups of their own choosing. A group is two Paired players and a Solo player. Once every player is in a group, the groups will be assigned tasks to complete. Successful completion of tasks gives generous rewards and failure dishes out harsh penalties.

After a single group has turned in their task a voting period will begin for everyone. Players have until the end of this period to both turn in their task and cast their vote. What is the vote for I hear you ask? It's to decide how to distribute bonus lives amongst the group. The Paired players of a group will be voting against the Solo member of their group and vice versa. Players are given two options to vote for: "Ally" and "Betray". Should both sides vote "Ally" then both will gain a life. Win-Win everyone is happy. Should both sides vote "Betray" then they don't get anything. Sucks to be so untrusting I guess. So what happens if one side chooses to "Ally" and the other "Betray"? The side that chose to "Ally" will actually lose a life while the "Betray" side will gain two lives. Now that's spicy!

Some other useful information for your perusal.
►Every session will have a random number of Boogeymen. These players must successfully cause another player to lose a life during the session. If they don't, they will drop to one life at the end of the session.
► There is a task re-roll button that can be pressed. Doing so will make the group's task much harder, but also give better rewards and harsher penalties. Not turning in you task in time counts as failing it.
► The voting period does not last forever. Not voting will default you to "Ally". If neither side votes, they both drop to one life. We want you to play the game after all!
► There will be videos recorded on this. You must be comfortable with appearing on camera.
► We play on Java and will be using the Simple Voice Chat mod to speak with each other. Both of these are requirements to play.
► Sessions will be at 11:00 AM CST on Saturdays and run for 2 hours.
