Gibson SG Standard 61 : I Just Bought a guitar that I've always HATED! My first ever professional level guitar was a Gibson SG from the early 80's that was a lot like this one. I didn't love it. I hated the way it looks. It didn't have a whammy bar. It wasn't neon green. Not many cool players at the time rocked these. So I traded it in on a Charvette. Yes, I said that.
So I was just messing around in Earle Teat Music in Delmar Delaware, and picked up an SG just for shitzz and giggles. AND I LOVED IT! So I bought it.
I still think it's ugly.
