I’ve noticed that sometimes when comparing interest rates, people will compare the APR’s.

This does not provide an accurate analysis! The only way it would be accurate is if you stayed in your mortgage for the life of your loan, which most people don’t.

Instead of comparing APR’s, request a Total Cost Analysis from your lender so you can consider all aspects of your loan options including how the loan fits in with your goals and the market conditions.

If your lender doesn’t provide these types of tools, let’s talk!
