Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor : Amritsar-Bathinda section | August 2024

1224 km Amritsar – Jamnagar Economic Corridor (NH-754A & EC-3), also known as Amritsar – Jamnagar Expressway, is an under construction 4-6 lane partially access-controlled highway by NHAI with a route alignment through Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat.

915.85 km of this highway will built on a greenfield alignment, while the rest will be built by upgrading existing national highways. Construction work on its greenfield section started in 2019 with a primary goal to improve the efficiency of freight movement and boost exports.

The project is being developed under the Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I program
