Ruth Brock ( Carroll ) is a pretty young bank clerk who attracts all the local boys. Romer Sheffield ( Grant ) is local rich playboy who has Camille ( LaRoy ) scandalously living openly at his mansion, takes a shine to Ruth. Ruth goes on a date with bank teller Conny Billup ( Woods )and they are invited to Romer's mansion for a party. Ruth is seen the next morning being chaffeured home from Romer's mansion by Eva Randolph ( Bond ), the bank executive's daughter. Old friend Bill Fadden ( Scott ) shows up and expresses his desire for Ruth. Gossip flies around town and Ruth is fired. Ruth goes to Bill's campsite. Dizzying tale of small town hijinks and gossip well worth a look. Good early performances by Grant and Scott.
