For the Haiku Milieu concerts, ‪@JennyBienemann‬ invites artists to choose one of her Haiku Milieu haiku and images, and write a song inspired by it.


Jenny wrote a song based on this haiku:

In the end we are
just panes of glass that see the
same things differently


The audience has a bird’s eye view of the process from inspiration to completed song. It is a great thrill to witness how one work of art gives rise to another, to contemplate how different works of art forged of the same initial impulse can be, and to witness the power of creativity to connect us with the world and each other.


The backing band includes John Abbey, Gerald Dowd, Ethan Adelsman, and Matthew Pittman.
