Disney Pin Trading Tips!! How to Tell When a Pin is Fake

Did you know that there are FAKE Disney pins? Disney pins are a fun trading collectable used thoughout it’s theme parks around the world!although these pins are cute and fun there are fake ones out there! I will be informing you you of the unofficial list and tips to tell if any of your Disney pins are fake. Fake pins- pins that are NOT meant to be traded at the Disney parks

How to tell if pins are fake:
———————————————————————
1) the Pin is fake if it does not have the mickey heads all over the back
-Tip pins from 2007/2008 and before will not have mickey heads on the back
-Also when looking at the back of the pin make sure that the pin DOES NOT have a border, all mickey heads should run clean off the edge of the pin

2)the pin is fake if there is NOT an official pin trading logo

3)the pin is fake if it has sharp/bumpy/or rough edges

4)make sure that the coloring of the pin is correct- the characters should be their proper color (depending on design)

5)slide your finger over the face of the pin- the pin is fake if you feel bumps where the paint is filled

6)the pin is fake if it has a thunk glossy coating
-note that some if not most international pins will have a glossy coating and are real
