So far, haven't got any reference to the numbers blinking (they change rather randomly each time the AC stops working).

These issues persist since OEM warranty days and an outside unit PCB issue was identified by the service engineer who kept us waiting for months and later claimed to have received a broken PCB which he again told us to wait for replacement which never happened till date and the ticket may have been closed without any resolution or fix
