She wrote and directed the crime thriller film Little Woods, winning the Nora Ephron Prize at the Tribeca Film Festival. She also directed the hit horror film Candyman. DaCosta is currently in post-production on The Marvels and has actually broken the record for being the youngest filmmaker to direct a Marvel film.
