With a soul-stirring passion for both acting and dancing, Darsh Jhamnani seeks to highlight the integral role theatre plays in self-expression. As an eighteen-year-old student of Dubai Gem Private School, Darsh has dedicated seven years of his lifetime to the artistic wonders of dancing, and thereafter, underwent a metamorphosis from dancer to actor. His most notable works include “Heart of the Matter” and “Antardwand,” which later won him the esteemed award of Best Actor in the theatrical display, “Short n’ Sweet 2023.”

Theatre is a medium not only to be studied, but one to be commemorated. In his talk, Darsh hopes to introduce budding artists to theatre’s influence on our culture, society, and identities.
