First it was the Everest and now it's the Ranger Wildtrak. The Wildtrak has been a slightly-unexpected smash-hit for Ford, with families and tradies seemingly falling over themselves to get on the lifestyle bandwagon. The Wildtrak is built on the same tough-as-nails underpinnings as standard Ranger, with the same five cylinder diesel found in the Everest as well as a surprising - and comforting - number of the big SUV's safety features.
