Kerryn Sampey (College student from Leeds, West Yorkshire) versus Jayne Luddon (Duty officer from Sheffield, South Yorkshire)

Neil Dorrell (Milkman from Steyning, Brighton) versus Mark Skipper (Gymnast and Strippagram from Kings Lynn, West Norfolk)

Notes: Prior to the events, The Wall is not played in the fifth heat due to a reduction of the number of appearances because it has been played for its appearances from the first four heats which are reduced down to 4 of the 8 heats, so it will be back for its appearances in the Quarter Finals.

Danger-Zone is in the fifth Heat in an event line-up as a core event and a chest guarded event, and from this onwards, the same chest guards are worn same as Gauntlet.
