With the passing of Kim Il-Sung after nearly five decades in power North Korea's mantle of leadership passes to the man groomed to take over for over for him: Enigmatic son Kim Jong-Il. So, the Stalinist dynasty lives on.

Kim Jong-il has since also died (17 December, 2011), leaving the reins to Kim Jong-un.
