Submodels in WaterGEMs l Bentley

Importing WaterGEMS files in a submodel:

1. Open the submodel in WaterGEMS.
2. Go to File Import *WaterGEMS Model*.
3. Select the WaterGEMS file (.wtg) you want to import.
4. Choose the import options, such as merging or replacing existing data.
5. Click Import to bring the data into the submodel.

Exporting WaterGEMS files from a submodel:

1. Open the submodel in WaterGEMS.
2. Go to File Export *WaterGEMS Model*.
3. Choose the export options, such as exporting the entire model or selecting specific elements.
4. Select the file format (.wtg) and file name.
5. Click Export to save the WaterGEMS file.

Additional tips:

When importing or exporting WaterGEMS files, ensure that the file versions are compatible.
Use the Append option when importing to add new data to the existing submodel.
Use the Replace option when importing to overwrite existing data in the submodel.
