Ocean Grove, NJ - Independence Parade, July 6th, 2024

The "4th of July" Independence Day Parade in Ocean Grove, NJ took place on Saturday, July 6th, 2024 starting at about 10:30AM.
It was beautiful and sunny that morning. A perfect day for a parade!
Presented by The Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association, the parade was was a fun spectacle of sight and sound with Ocean Grove and local organizations, bands, businesses and individuals participating. The parade marchers threw candy to all the kids along the parade route and all the marchers and spectators thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
I believe the parade started at the main entrance gate into the town of Ocean Grove on Main Avenue. The parade marched east on Main Ave. then turned left (north) onto Central Ave, turned right (east) onto the north leg of Ocean Pathway (going the wrong way) then turned right (south) onto Ocean Ave. ending further down on Ocean Ave. probably on Broadway.
