10 MUSCLE CARS THAT FAIL ON THE RACETRACK

You probably remember the fire-breathing, legendary muscle cars of the past like Hemi Chargers, Cobra Jet Mustangs, and Big Block Camaros, mythical beasts that dominated the streets in the late ‘60s. However, not all muscle cars from the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s achieved such fame. Take the 1974 Pontiac GTO, downsized to a Ventura trim line with a 200 HP V8, which failed to recapture its former glory and saw only 7,000 units sold. Similarly, the 1978-79 Oldsmobile 442, once a revered name, was reduced to a marketing gimmick with a mere 160 HP.
