La Coruna to Santiago de Compostela

A Coruña to Santiago de Compostela was the final journey of this trip. Before leaving A Coruña, I had to visit a remaining section of Roman aqueduct. As sections of aqueduct go, this section is very well preserved and in far better condition than many others I've come across during my travels.

I then took a train from A Coruña to Santiago de Compostela, and one which I thought would be quite straightforward. This wasn't the case, as the ticket machine wasn't working and then I had to take a ticket and queue up for forty minutes waiting for the single open ticket desk to finally call my number. I finally did catch the train arriving around midday as intended.

The weather wasn't on my side, as drizzle was in the air, so I visited a covered market, then went into what I thought was a church, which turned out was an apartment complex. I did manage to end my day with a visit to the Cathedral in Santiago de Compostela, marvelling at the cathedral's opulent interior.
