I brought my Nikon Z7 to the color festival and instantly realized it was a stupid idea. I wish I had a special waterproof/dustproof case to protect it. So I snuggled it back inside The McKenzie Bag and stuck to snapping with my phone. I wanted these images to be AMAZING. I was worried with my iPhone at the helm, BUT I had the secret weapon of using my Lightroom Presets. I made the images look crisp, bright, with a side of Rockstar Status! I love how they turned out. :) We had an awesome time. Let me give you a couple tips to make your trip to the festival just as awesome!

1- Wear eye protection: goggles, sunglasses, etc.
2- Wear a bandana around your mouth or a mask so you don't breathe in the colorful dust.
3- Purchase a new white cheap shirt from Walmart. White will help show off the color and the cheapness because it's ruined after the festival.
4- I would suggest NOT bringing your nice camera. The photos and video were shot on my iPhone 8plus and they look awesome! If you do want to bring your camera, keep it in a protective holder... Like this one!

5- Edit your smart phone images with my AWESOME lightroom presets. They'll make your images look just like a REAL camera. :)

7- Parking! There is a $5 charge to park but you can park along the street and walk to the festival. Keep in mind it's about a 1.5 - 2 mile walk.
